Lagonda M45 Vanden Plas 1934 Olympia Motor Show car.

Lagonda M45 delivered at the request of Oxborrow and Fuller to Vanden Plas for them to build the current and original bodywork to Vanden Plas design number 1126, the car was then delivered to Lagonda ltd as Body number 3272 in 1934 ready for the Lagonda stand at the Olympia motor Show.

This car is in very, good condition having been very lovingly cared for by its current owner who has spent large amounts of time and money keeping it in beautiful driving condition.

The engine is running exactly as it should and pulls very strongly, the cooling is extremely good and even on the hottest days with a little blip of the throttle to move the mechanical fan the temperature can be kept at 80 degrees with ease. Even in a traffic jam.  The gearbox is the trusty Lagonda T8 and it makes no strange noises while it can be switched between the gears extremely easily with a bit of experience and even a Pre-War beginner would find it fairly easy to master.  
Bodily it is in fine condition and the full hood and weather equipment with wind up windows, make it ideal for those longer rallies where a little comfort is required.
